KPCA Northwestern Presbyterian Theological Seminary provides an enriched and diverse learning environment for our students. Founded in 2000, our Birth School is located in San Francisco and reflects the various backgrounds and cultures of the area. Our teachers are passionate, experienced and eager to pass on their knowledge to their students.

At KPCA Northwestern Presbyterian Theological Seminary, we do our best to prepare our students for a rewarding and fulfilling career. Mission Statement

KPCA Northwestern Presbyterian Theological Seminary exists to serve the Korean Presbyterian Church in Abroad and the Kingdom of God by equipping students for effective service to God, His Church, and the world He sends us to evangelize.

As a denominational seminary of the Korean Presbyterian Church in Abroad, KPCA Northwestern Presbyterian Theological Seminary’s primary purpose is to nurture leaders for the church and society through training in piety and devotion, academic research and study, and praxis of the Gospel. According to the mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and embodying the Kingdom of God, KPCA Northwestern Presbyterian Theological Seminary provides the theological foundation, professional performance, and spiritual formation to equip people who are dedicated to live out and respond faithfully to the Kingdom of God.

Based on its motto, “Pietas et Scientia”1 and the Creeds of the Presbyterian church and the constitution of KPCA, KPCA Northwestern Presbyterian Theological Seminary educates students to be good workers who would dedicate their lives to the church and the Kingdom of God.

The Washington Student Achievement Council has determined that KPCA Northwestern Presbyterian Theological Seminary qualifies for religious exempt status from the Degree-Granting Institutions Act for the following programs: Bachelor of Biblical Studies (B.B.S.) and Master of Divinity (M.Div.). The Council makes no evaluation of the administration, faculty, business practices, financial condition, or quality of the offerings by this institution.
